THE HEALTHY HEART CHECK

It is important to keep your heart healthy and here at The Wyndham Centre we can give you a heart check.

We will check your blood pressure, your cholesterol and the age of your arteries. Depending on your results a test for Homocysteine can be incorporated for an additional cost. Homocysteine is an amino acid that in high quantities can damage your arterial wall.

I will advise you on diet, supplements and how to keep a healthy lifestyle.

Why not book in for The Healthy Heart Check or even The Alternative Health Check Gold to which we can also add the Homocysteine test for a further fee.

The Alternative Health Check Gold includes a Vega test for food and airborne sensitivities, a general scan of your body energies, blood pressure, pulse, cholesterol, the age of your arteries, blood sugar, urinalysis, a mineral taste test and a test for electrical currents in any fillings you may have. Real Time Ultrasound

The Real Time Ultrasound enables us to look at the efficiency and effectiveness of the deep core muscles of the abdomen. The main muscle we target is the transversus abdominus, which is the deepest of the four layers of the abdominal muscles.  It acts, along with the pelvic floor muscles and the deep back muscles, like a corset or belt to support your back during everyday activities.

By using the real time ultrasound you and the physiotherapist can both see how well the muscle is working and practice activating it through various exercises to improve its strength and effectiveness.
